FOOTBALLLLLLLLL

so im am way behind on updating the 2010 football season! the warriors are now 3-2. austin is playing great and so far thankfully injury free! it was so nice to have jon, kelly, and travis come to the USC game (those pictures of their visit to come later)!! they lost the first game to USC (although they played great and turned out to be a close game), the second game the went on the road to new york and won that game, and finished off their long road trip in colorado where they lost (hopefully the last loss of the season!), then came home to kill the next two teams (Charleston southern and LAtech)! i have been having fun tailgating with some of the other wives and watching my hunny kick butt! go 51!!

its been awhile and i have so much to add and pictures to update but most important news in the last month is that austin and i are officially uncle and aunt to the newest little hansen!! liam carter was born on september 19th and was 21 inches, 8lbs 13oz! we are both so excited for tatum and adam! they are gonna be amazing parents and we cant wait to meet the little guy!!

skydiving!!

in the spirt of adventure, a few of the girls from my bible study decided that we were gonna go skydiving! we got up at 530 am to be the first ones there, and all drove out to the north shore. lacey, her mom, julie, and i all got suited up and hopped in the back of a truck and got in this tiny little plane, which took us up into the sky! surprisingly i wasnt nervous at all! it was the most gorgeous view from the plane and i figured if i was ever gonna sky dive this is probably one of the most gorgeous places to do it. the initial jump was so terrifying and i closed my eyes for half a second and then forced them open and it was so so incredible! my favorite was the free falling was the best part. we are bonded for life girls! i cant wait to go back and bring austin and jump with him, babe you would have loved it!!

the other day my friend lacey and i decided to go on a new hike that neither of us had been on before, we've done this before and it has usually worked out ok. this time i there was a few minor problems! the beginning of the trail head was impossible to find...it took us an hour! turns out where we were looking was on private property. we wondered around and found two huge dogs who then proceeded to charge us. lacey took off her bag and tried to hit it while i ran!! haha i came back tho and started yelling at them to go away and eventually they just let us leave. we eventually found the beginning and it ended up being a fun hike. we had to rock climb a bit and just got to get lost in the gorgegous valley for 3 hours. i am going to miss lacey shes been a great friend to me over here, she just found out she is moving to Afghanistan for a year to be contracted as a civilian over there and has a great job opportunity. in the spirit of trying to sqeeze as much adventure in before she leaves we are going sky diving tomorrow!! i am so excited! lacey i will miss you and pray for your safety while you are gone, but lets have fun jumping out of a plane!!
